The Boy in the Dress

The Terrific Tuis have spent the first term (and this  week) enjoying this hilarious tale from David Walliams. We were all a little sad today when we finally read the last page.

What the Terrific Tuis had to say about this book…..

  •  The funniest parts were when the soccer team all dressed as girls and the headmaster dressed as his sister
  • I learnt that anybody can wear anything
  • The saddest part was when everybody laughed at  Dennis (Denise) wearing a dress
  • The happiest part was when Dennis apologised to Miss Winter
  • The book was really funny, especially when Raj dressed up as a girl too
  • The best bit was when Dennis put on the orange, sequinned dress
  • The funniest bit was when Dennis said ” I ‘d better not cry in front of my future wife!”
  • Boys can wear what they want to

We can definitely recommend this book!

So  I wish he would have listened to me. We are saving seeds to plant next spring in our garden.

Tui’s Tiny Tadpoles

In Tui class Mrs NC brought some tadpoles.  First we got some pond water. Then we didn’t know what to feed them but then Emma thought we could feed them letters.  So we did.  Then our tadpoles were happy and safe.  I love our TADPOLES!!!!!!!!!!
